MAUI JIM SUNGLASSES

The lenses feature PolarisedPlus technology which completely eliminates glare and boosts the quality of colours we see. This technology is used on all lens materials and available in single vision, thinner/lighter lenses, and progressive lenses, as well as non-prescription. Our in store Dispensing Optician will advise you on the most appropriate lens design and colour of tint for your individual requirements.

The frame collection has a style to suit everyone. This includes wrap around styles, rimless, flexible/memory materials, sports styles, shields and lightweight but durable titanium.

SUNGLASSES

At Kate Hattersley Opticians we stock many other ranges of sunglasses in both prescription and non-prescription. These include Just Cavalli, Miss Sixty, Adidas, Nike, North Face, Cebe and Animal. We also offer several non-designer ranges available in all lens designs and tints at a very affordable price.

SPORTS EYEWEAR

Sports and recreational activities are becoming ever more popular and it is essential to have the correct eyewear to ensure safety and to maximise vision to ensure success and enjoyment in your chosen sport. We have prescription diving masks for divers and swimming goggles for swimmers, and eyewear appropriate for sailing, fishing, skiing, squash, mountaineering, golf, cycling, football and many other sports. Let us know your chosen sport and we will ensure your visual comfort and safety is achieved.

There is a large variety of lenses available and our instore experts will be able to advise you on which lenses are most suitable for you, based on your frames and prescription.

We stock Single Vision lenses - prescribed either for reading or for distance correction, Bifocal lenses - where the lens is visibly split between reading and distance correction, and Varifocal lenses - similar to bifocals but with no visible line on the lens enabling an additional viewing distance at arms length which allows comfortable viewing of a computer screen or prices in a shop.

We operate a varifocal guarantee policy whereby a pair of varifocal spectacles can be made to your prescription and visual needs and you can use them for 30 days. If you cannot adapt to them within that time, then we will switch you either to a bifocal or separate distance and reading lenses at no further cost to yourself.
